Space City Panteras 2011 Meeting and Events Calendar

January Club Meeting - Saturday, January 8th at Zio’s Italian Kitchen, 14915 North Freeway, 77090.
Plan on meeting in the parking lot at 5:00 PM. There will still be some daylight left so please bring your GT-40, Mangusta or Pantera.
The aftermath:
We had a great group. The guys talked about cars and the ladies talked about us talking about cars. At least I think so or they were simply talking about us. If you could not make it you really missed a fun time.

Hope to see more club members at the next meeting. Place yet to be determined but not to worry, we use a slide rule and an easel to pick out the restaurants. Sorry, we use those to work on the cars. Coin toss for the restaurants.

April 9, Saturday - The Space City Panteras Annual Pig Roast

Y'all
At the last Space City Meeting, our Prez, Dan Mixon, called upon me to spearhead the annual Pig Roast.
I am putting forth Saturday April, 9th. The day will include a tech session and DeTomaso photo shoot. The tech session will provide priority to cars running the BBORR at month's end. Ideally, we will also have an extraordinary photo shoot with even more cars than we had at the inaugural roast. Photo attached. The date ought to be far enough out to permit a couple of more cars to get off the block.
As the event nears, I'll provide a list of food and utensils that we'll need. As was the practice in previous years, I'll request attendees to elect an item to bring.
How well does the date work? Admittedly, we all realize no date will work for everyone.

On the Pig Roast announcement message, I forgot to attach a photo from the inaugural Roast.
We would like to reshoot this photo to include many cars absent the first go around. It is impressive how many cars made this photo when you consider how many currently active member's Panteras are missing.
Missing Panteras: David Bell, Kirby Schrader, Dan Mixon, Bill Lewis, Rob Pink, Steve Hawkins, JT Yellow, John Hass,
Less active members include David Tomkins, Fred Foreman, Rob West, David Auer, Dennis Coffman, Bill Isaacks, Jim Narum.
With the exception of Dan's car, it is possible to get an impressive display of Panteras for the event.
